Christmas

Well, it was back to work today (for me at least), which is a sure tell sign that Christmas is officially over. We had a nice day yesterday; very boring, which equals relaxing. The boys must have behaved all year because they received what they asked for from Santa. Mommy also received a pretty nice gift from Santa, diamond earrings! Daddy is pleased with his new XBox360 as well :) Honey Baked Ham and all the fixin's for dinner and our day was complete. Check out the flickr link to the right to see some photos.

The Nativity Story

Wow, what a great movie! We took the boys to see the story of Jesus' birth last night and it was a wonderful experience. It was a little tough for the boys to understand, but they were able to understand the main concept, which made for great conversation on the drive home. Still, I felt chills down my spine and the packed theater had quite a few sniffles and tears. What an awesome way to spend the eve of our Savior's birth.

Although the day is not over, we thought we would post
some photos of our Gingerbread house. The boys had a
great time decorating it. We're off to see The Nativity Story
and have a nice dinner out. Jake and Jared can't wait for
Santa to visit tonight!!

Our First Blog

Well, we thought we'd join the blogosphere and create a blog to make it easier for our family and friends to see what's going on in our life. We recently returned from a wonderful family vacation to Central Florida. We visited The Magic Kingdom @ Disney World as well as Kennedy Space Center on the Cape. We were joined by Amy and Micah (and their one on the way), Aunt Pat, Uncle Mark and Matt. The boys had a great time visiting Mickey, although Jared was a little timid around the characters; He gets that from his Mommy ( I never liked them as a child either). The Astronaut @ Kennedy Space Center was also a little scary. Here are photos of us from Disney and Kennedy Space Center.
